We only make house calls.
There are a few anti-aging clinics to choose from in the area if you are not interested in being a part of our house call practice. While we will not recommend any specific clinics, if you are looking for another anti-aging practice, we strongly recommend you find someone who is training or has trained through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
Over the past few decades, health care has changed considerably. In many ways, we are greatly benefiting from new treatments brought along by the huge technological advances of our time. This advanced technology has come with a price. Most people can no longer afford medical care without participating in a 3rd party payer system. Healthcare expenses have skyrocketed to the point where our government has passed legislation requiring everyone to participate in some sort of health insurance program or face fines.
While there are benefits to the 3rd party payer system, there have been some significant consequences. Physicians routinely are forced to modify their treatment plans for their patients, because the patients' insurance company will not cover certain diagnostic tests or treatments. When physicians insist on certain therapies, much time and effort is spent filling out paperwork and making calls to get these uncovered therapies approved. Insurance companies also negotiate with physicians to accept pennies on the dollar for their services, and in return, the physician is part of the insurance network and is flooded with patients. Unfortunately, though it may be good for business to be flooded with patients, the physician is backed into a corner where he/she must see large volumes of patients simply to cover the required overhead in running a clinic. It's no surprise, that many people often joke about how after a long wait in the waiting room, their physician zooms in and out of the exam room so fast, the patient needs to be treated for vertigo! At the end of the day, after seeing too many patients and jumping through hoops to satisfy insurance companies, there's simply no time left for making house calls; there's barely enough time to make follow-up phone calls from the office.
At LiveYoung, we do not take insurance. Our prices are clearly stated on this website and are structured in a way to allow much more time per home visit, so you really do get your money's worth and much needed face-time with your physician. We understand that your time is very important, and we take customer service very seriously. You will not wait in any waiting rooms. When your physician shows up for your appointment, you will be updated on your progress and any changes to your treatment plan will be thoroughly explained to you. You will have more than enough time to have all of your questions answered. We also strive to have our laboratory services and prescription refills set up in such a way to run as smoothly as possible to protect your valuable time and keep the hassle out of your Health Care!
Most physicians wish they could spend more time with each patient. At LiveYoung, we make house calls and spend the extra needed time with our clients, because we can!

Bioidentical Hormones differ from Synthetic Hormones in that Bioidentical Hormones are derived from naturally occurring sources and more closely resemble the hormones that are produced by our bodies. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy has been shown to be safer and more effective than Synthetic Hormone Replacement.
During the aging process, there is a gradual decrease in your body's hormone levels. This resultant hormone deficiency can result in certain symptoms, known to be common with aging. These symptoms include:
If you notice any of the above symptoms as you age, you may have a hormone deficiency and may benefit from Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. The only way to know for sure is to have your hormone levels measured. At LiveYoung, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation, including laboratory tests that will measure your hormone levels. If any Hormone Deficiencies are discovered, your Preventative Medicine Physician will likely recommend Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. During this therapy, your progress will be measured through follow-up blood testing in order to make sure your hormones are being replaced to the appropriate levels. Just as there are health risks with having low hormone levels, there are dangers if your hormone levels are overcorrected. If you are placed on a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Program, you will likely require hormone testing at least a couple of times a year.
Hormone deficiencies can also put you at risk for certain health conditions including Insulin Resistance, Heart Disease, Stroke, Osteoporosis, and certain types of Dementia. For this reason, it's not only important to have any hormone deficiencies corrected for symptomatic relief, but to reduce the risk of common diseases that are associated with the aging process.
No medical therapy is without risk. The main risks associated with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy include local skin reactions from hormone cream preparations, or reactions at the injection site of certain subcutaneous or intramuscular hormone preparations. If injectable hormone preparations are not done properly, there is a risk of skin infection at the injection site. There are also be risks associated with increasing your hormone levels too much. That's why it's very important that your levels are checked periodically in order to avoid overcorrection of any hormone deficiency you may have.
The goal of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement is to balance your hormones by replacing any deficient hormones to the normal levels you enjoyed when you were in your 20's. At LiveYoung, we truly believe that the greatest risk to your health and vitality is to allow your hormone levels to continue to decline as you age.
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone normally produced during pregnancy. It functions by mobilizing the mother's fat stores to help provide the developing fetus with nutrients essential for normal growth and development. Decades ago, Dr. Simeons discovered that small doses of hCG, when coupled with a Very Low Calorie Diet, resulted in significant weight loss. People are able to restrict their Caloric intake significantly more with hCG, because hCG helps suppress the appetite. In addition to appetite suppression, hCG also appears to act on the hypothalamus in the brain, signaling the body to release stored fat into the bloodstream where it becomes available to be used by the cells for nourishment. Abnormal fat is released by hCG without affecting structural fat and muscle tissue.

Our mission at LiveYoung includes providing the highest quality of preventative medical care to our clients. In order for us to accomplish that mission, we require that all clients first receive a Comprehensive Initial Consultation before we will recommend any treatment plans (including weight loss programs). Each person is different, and we rely on the Initial Consultation to tailor treatments to each individual.
Weight loss is often an important part of Preventative Medicine, and hCG is a commonly recommended tool to help achieve that goal. Patients who are still struggling to reach their goal weights after their hormones are balanced may be offered hCG as part of their individualized treatment plan. Since the hormone balancing process may take 6 months or longer, hCG may not be offered for several months.
We believe that a comprehensive approach to Preventative Medicine is the only way to provide the highest quality of care.

We recommend that all of our clients have regular check-ups by their own Primary Care Providers. While we strive to eliminate risk factors for disease, at some point in everyone's life, there will be medical conditions that require treatment. That treatment should be coordinated by your Primary Care Provider. If you are already under the care of a Primary Care Provider, we encourage you to continue to take your prescribed medications and to keep your Primary Care Provider updated about any health changes you may experience (including initiation of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy).
In the case of any medical emergency, we encourage you to contact your Primary Care Provider, EMS (911), or Urgent Care Center.

LiveYoung does not work with 3rd party payers. Many insurance providers will not cover certain Preventative Medical Services, including Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. If you would like to approach your insurance company for partial reimbursement, please understand that there are no guarantees, but you will have access to your LiveYoung medical record and invoices.
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
There is no obligation.
For your initial appointment, you will be charged a $50 booking fee that will go towards your 1st visit. At your first visit (Initial Consultation), you will pay half of the balance. At the follow-up visit, you will pay the remaining balance. At your follow-up visit, you will be presented with your individualized preventative medicine plan of care, and if you choose to participate, you will be billed monthly. If you then wish to cancel for any reason, please let us know, and you will not be required to provide any additional payments.
LiveYoung does not offer Acute/Urgent care services nor do we offer Primary Care Provider services. We strongly encourage all of our clients to form a relationship with a Primary Care Provider and have regular check-ups. If at any time you are faced with a medical emergency, please contact your Primary Care Provider, report to the nearest Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center, or Activate EMS by dialing 911.
